Antalya Elopement Questions, Answered
Practical answers about documents, vows, privacy, travel and the day itself.
What documents do we need for a symbolic elopement?
None for the ceremony itself. Because our elopements are symbolic, there is nothing to translate, stamp or register in Turkey. You only need valid passports and any visa your nationality requires to enter Turkey.
Who leads our ceremony, and in which language?
An experienced officiant leads your symbolic ceremony in English or Turkish. We write the script with you, so it can be light and personal or include religious and cultural readings.
Can we write our own vows?
Yes, and we recommend it. We send you a short guide and can read your vows before the day. If you prefer, the officiant can lead you through traditional vows instead.
Will other people be around during our ceremony?
We choose quiet coves, cliffs and private gardens for your time slot, and plan public places like the Old Town for early morning or after sunset. On a yacht or at a private villa, only your own group is there.
Where do we get ready on the day?
Most couples get ready in their hotel room or villa. Your hair and makeup artist comes to you, and the photographer joins for the final details, so the day can start slowly.
What should we wear for an elopement in Antalya?
Choose light fabrics and shoes that suit your setting: flat sandals for sand and cliffs, block heels for the stone streets of the Old Town. Bring a light layer for evenings in April, May, October and November.
Can our children be part of the elopement?
Yes. Children often carry the rings or walk with you, and we plan the timing around their meals and rest. Garden, resort and villa settings work best for a family elopement.
How do we get to Antalya?
Fly into Antalya Airport (AYT), which has direct flights from across Europe and the Middle East. We arrange your transfer: about 20 minutes to Lara or the Old Town, 30 minutes to Belek and about an hour to Kemer or Side.
Where should we stay for an Antalya elopement?
For an Old Town ceremony, a boutique hotel near the old harbour. For beaches and resorts, Lara or Belek. For a quieter, more private stay, a villa near Kemer or Kaş. We suggest places that fit your setting and budget.
Can we use a drone for our elopement photos?
Often, yes. Drone footage is possible at many beaches and cliffs, but flights are restricted near the airport and in some protected areas. We check the rules for your location and tell you in advance.
How do we pay for our elopement?
You receive one personal quote that covers everything we arrange, with no separate supplier bills. We agree a clear payment schedule with you before anything is booked.
